Kevin celebrates 5 years as a Project Surveyor with Sandis! His favorite part of the job is finding and measuring locations of buried treasures (survey monuments) and creating a beautiful map with land boundaries through data analysis. By nature, Kevin is also one of Sandis' talented field photographers—his work has been featured multiple times by the Evergreen State Surveyor. There's no stopping Kevin when it comes to the outdoors. With his wife, three kids, friends, and family, you'll find him enjoying the following: snowboarding 🏂, mountain biking, mountaineering, rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, camping ⛺, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, water skiing, wakeboarding, playing disc golf, and more! A drummer with over 30 years of experience, Kevin has played in marching, concert, jazz, classic rock, funk, and hard rock bands as well as on his church's worship team. 🥁 Don't let his calm, reserved nature fool you! Kevin's favorite music to listen to and play is "highly chaotic and technical progressive math metal". Well Kevin, we'll rock on right with you 🤘 as we celebrate all your dedication and talent. It's been 18 years with Dan at Sandis! 😎 As a Sandis Party Chief, he enjoys building relationships with all the superintendents and foremen in the field. Dan brings a welcoming presence to the office and field, without a doubt. Some of his greatest pleasures include live music 🎵 (first concert: AC/DC, most recent: Pearl Jam), camping, grilling with an ice-cold beer in hand, and going on road trips with his wife and 3 dogs 🐶—they've traveled cross country 4 times. Not many people know this but he's an identical twin! Dan has been a Northern California Special Olympics head coach for the last 15 years, coaching swimming, softball, and bowling in San Mateo County. Cooking nourishes his soul; particularly making chili, casseroles, and tacos. We're lucky to have him! What a beautiful day on the green! Sandis returned to Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton on Monday for our 3rd year sponsoring a hole at the AGC Bay Area Region Golf Tournament.
