Axis Communications opened their new experience center Wednesday evening with an official ribbon cutting. I joined about 300 of their best friends to celebrate and gobble up some Hutchins BBQ. I thought it was certainly a good time to renew friendships and meet new friends. Steve Stanberry, director of the Frisco, Texas, Axis Experience Center was front and center greeting guests as they arrived. This location replaces the Las Colinas offices, offering a state-of-the-are facility in the progressive business center in Frisco. Integrators can bring clients to the facility to acquaint them with products and solutions, an image usability lab, a demo room and a partner pavilion. This is the seventh floor, next door to the Cowboys Training Facility, The Star.

What does effective security management looks like in 2024? The cloud is a fact of life across all IT applications—and security is no exception. While most software applications today have moved to the cloud, security is a bit different. There are significant technical and budgetary challenges, particularly as the increasing volume (and image quality) of security cameras in use results in an enormous amount of video data transferred and stored in the cloud. https://lnkd.in/eW3fjCEs
