Leaving an example of excellence and a legacy of inspiration, Bobby DiLullo was a physical therapist and vice president of operations for Select Medical and NovaCare Rehabilitation for over 20 years. He passed away after a long battle with cancer in 2019. Bobby was authentic, hard-working, honest, humble and passionate about the latest research and techniques in sports medicine. This past weekend at the Philadelphia Sports Medicine Conference, we proudly presented the fourth annual Bobby DiLullo Memorial Award to Physical Therapist Roxanne Smith. Roxanne embodies all the incredible attributes we saw Bobby possess for so many years. She serves as the director of care at Villanova University, Eastern University, Haverford College and NovaCare's Broomall location. She holds board-certified clinical specialties in orthopedics, sports, athletic training and manual therapy. Additionally, Roxanne traveled to South Africa as the physical therapist for the USA Women's Indoor Field Hockey team when they participated in the World Cup in 2023. Congratulations, Roxanne! We're proud to have such a talented and dedicated clinician on our team.

We know that one of the best ways to learn is through hands-on experience in real-life settings, and two students in our student program got to do just that at a pickleball event. Select Medical recently sponsored the Select Medical Orange County Cup for the third consecutive year, and students Naomi and Andrew joined our clinician team in providing evaluations and care to participants. Check out the video to hear Naomi and Andrew share about their clinical experiences at Select Medical. If you would like more information about our student program contact our national manager of student programs at studentprogram@selectmedical.com today.
