We are excited to welcome Dr. Christina Helfrich to our practice, Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics of New Britain! She will be creating beautiful smiles as our new orthodontist. Dr. Helfrich received her degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Lehigh University in her home state of Pennsylvania. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. She spent her General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, and finally, her Orthodontic Residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Welcome, Dr. Helfrich! We are thrilled to introduce two general dentists at West Brookfield Dental, Dr. Linda Zheng and Dr. Navtej Kang! Dr. Linda Zheng earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Engineering from Cornell University. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook University. She hopes to create lasting smiles by focusing on preventative care. Outside of the office, she enjoys photography, hiking, swimming, skiing, and cooking. Dr. Zheng is fluent in English, Chinese, and Spanish. Dr. Navtej Kang received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from P M Nadagouda Memorial Dental College and Hospital in Bagalkot, India. He then moved to the United States and received his Master's degree at University of Alabama at Birmingham, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kang feels fulfilled by making a positive impact on his patients’ oral health and well-being. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Kang enjoys reading, being outside in nature, traveling, and healthy eating. Dr. Kang speaks multiple Indian languages. We are pleased to introduce general dentist, Dr. Hadi Haidar, to University Dental Group! Dr. Haidar is a Massachusetts native who received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University. He decided to pursue dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Dental School. Dr. Haidar enjoys all aspects of dentistry but especially enjoys establishing a trusting relationship with his patients. He strives to make his patients feel comfortable in the dental chair while providing top quality care. Outside of the office, Dr. Haidar enjoys playing sports and spending time with his family and friends. He is also fluent in Arabic. Today we visited our friends at Donovon Elementary School to teach them all about oral hygiene. We had a blast singing songs, talking about good and bad foods for our teeth, reading a story about the dentist, and demonstrating how to floss our teeth! We are very excited to welcome Pediatric Dentist, Dr. James Grieco, to our team at Kids' Smiles on Lincoln! Dr. Grieco is an accomplished pediatric dentist who is native to Massachusetts. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He then attended Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned a Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Pediatric Dentistry. He has experience working with children of all ages, including children with special needs and dental anxiety. He is a member of both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Additionally, he was a former Clinical Instructor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Grieco strives to build long-lasting and trustworthy relationships with his patients and their parents.
