Congratulations to Savannah Harris, our third Solis Scholarship recipient! A second-year student at Tarrant County College in the Radiologic Technologist program, she will graduate in 2025 with an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences. Savannah is also planning on applying to Solis University's Clinical Education Program so she can become part of our renowned mammography team. As she says, "I am choosing mammography because I am passionate about the preventative care that mammogram screenings can provide. I am dedicated to furnishing a safe space for patients to feel comfortable when fear may be on the forefront of their mind." This week the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony welcoming our recently opened screening mammography center as a new Chamber member. This week we were thrilled that Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum, one of the leading voices in women’s cardiovascular health, joined us in the Solis Mammography studio for an in-depth interview with Dr. Chirag Parghi, our Chief Medical Officer. An attending cardiologist and women’s health advocate, Dr. Steinbaum is single-handedly forging a path forward to change the conversation around heart disease in women from treating the sick to empowering the healthy. The lively interview focused on personalized, preventive care, as well as new technologies and innovations that look at women’s health more holistically, particularly with the launch of Solis Mammography’s Mammo+Heart AI-driven screening that provides insight into a patient’s heart and breast health.
