How do you define servant leadership? According to LaVal Brewer President and CEO of South County Outreach... As a leader: 1️⃣ You set the vision: Where are we going and how do we get there? 2️⃣ You manage the process: Making sure plans become achievements. But as a servant leader, LaVal explains his focus goes beyond just tasks: ➡️ It's about empowering your team to thrive. ➡️ Providing support, guidance, and encouragement. ➡️ Helping each member grow, learn, and succeed. It's not about doing their job but ensuring they have the tools, support, and encouragement they need to succeed. Let's learn from LaVal and lead with purpose and serve with heart. Thank you to Haley Cooper for hosting us on the "Lead with Heart" podcast. ▶️ If you missed this episode, here’s a link to listen: https://lnkd.in/gGyfeP8z #NonprofitLeadership #ServantLeadership #Teamwork

Thank you to the Greater Irvine Chamber for recognizing LaVal Brewer as the Inspirational Leader of the Year – something I am so lucky to see and experience every day. Inspirational leadership, like LaVal’s, has a transformative impact. It creates an environment where people feel motivated and empowered to excel. Reflect on the leaders you have worked for: Did they inspire you? Were you willing to go the extra mile for them? Were you given opportunities to grow because they trusted you? I speak for the entire South County Outreach team when I say, “Thank you, LaVal, for inspiring us every day.” #Leadership #Inspiration #CommunityImpact #SouthCountyOutreach
