As we look back on the month of June, we are proud and inspired by the many ways our BearForce embraced and celebrated diversity. We kicked the month off with an Employee Network Showcase, where each of our Employee Networks shared their purpose and mission as well as how to participate as a member or an ally. We learned about the deep history of Juneteenth and the significance of African-American food culture with guest speaker Tracey MacRae, a renowned Seattle-based chef. For Pride Month, we celebrated self-expression and demonstrated support for the LGBTQ+ community with a roller skating extravaganza. And last, but not least, we showed up strong in support of Seattle-based Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) by participating in their Walk for Rice fundraiser as a Presenting Sponsor! #diversityandinclusion

The Stanley BearForce in Seattle wielded shovels and loppers to help restore the important habitats of Timberlake Park in nearby Issaquah. Under the guidance of the team at Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust, volunteers cleared mounds of blackberry bushes and invasive ivies. This #EarthDay event is part of Stanley's ongoing commitment to volunteer service around the world.
