Last Friday, Vermont Governor Phil Scott (R) signed SB 98, directing the state’s Green Mountain Care Board to draft and implement a PDAB-adjacent price control program. The initial plan is due to the legislature in January 2025 and is required to consider the experiences of other states with Prescription Drug Affordability Boards, federal negotiating power, and other state programs.
