Out now on Sui Mainnet: 🎊Mysticeti 🎊 Meet the breakthrough consensus protocol that reduced consensus time on Testnet by 80 percent! Mysticeti achieves the fastest overarching latency, reaching consensus on Testnet in 390ms with 640ms settlement finality. This represents an 80% reduction from Narwhal-Bullshark 😲 Mysticeti marks a new milestone in DAG-based consensus algorithms. In addition to decoupling latency from throughput, the algorithm also manages to maintain extremely high throughput (even in the presence of network and node failures)! So what exactly does Mysticeti mean for performance – and for you? 🤔 💧Fewest rounds to complete commits: Mysticeti validators sign and share blocks without certification, making each round a half round trip, the least round-trips of any DAG-based consensus algorithm. 💧Increased throughput *without* increased latency: Forgoing the primary-worker distinction, Mysticeti simply inlines transactions within the primary’s block and still delivers a very high throughput – well over 100K TPS without significant increases in latency. 💧 Earlier committed transactions: Mysticeti’s novel commit rule naturally appoints multiple leaders every round, allowing more transactions to be committed earlier. To be clear, this is a rollout. Not all Mysticeti improvements will be evident today. During the upcoming weeks, the upgrade process will unfold in several steps. Dive in and see for yourself how Mysticeti offers an improved user experience with lightning fast transactions across all apps, from games to DeFi. And stay tuned for further upgrades during the roll out on Mainnet. Learn more about Mysticeti: https://sui.io/mysticeti

Quality > clicks Hydro rewards publishers based on this simple but effective concept. The traditional web publishing, driven by ad revenue, is broken. By using Sui technology like Move contracts, zkLogin, and multisig, Hydro lets publishers monetize their digital content, generating income based on how long a user remains on a page rather than the number of clicks that page gets. When publishers sign up for Hydro, they can choose between three tiers. After signup, they receive a code to then integrate within their platform to activate proof-of-time tracking. Hydro plans to drive value using a circular token economy. As publishers join at higher tier levels, they purchase nodes, validating transactions on Sui. Over time, supply of these tokens will decrease, demand will increase, in turn increasing both the value of Hydro tokens and potential publisher revenue. Using Sui technology, Hydro will continue to grow its network of publishers, creating a better, ad-free experience for consumers and offering a lifeline to content creators. Sui version 1.29, which includes Mysticeti, is now being downloaded and installed by Sui validators – meaning Sui is on its way to the lowest latency in blockchain. Mysticeti will be live at the first epoch that comes after 83% (or more) of validators have installed the update. Track the progress of validator installation using the new dashboard: https://lnkd.in/gZVcp-eY

Have you tried Sui Bridge on Testnet? Never even *heard* of Sui’s native bridge? Whatever your experience with the protocol, the moment is right for a deep dive on Sui Bridge’s architecture and its defining features. Over the past few months, Sui Bridge has seen significant developments, not only broadening reach for apps built on Sui but also offering an avenue to integrate more deeply across the wider blockchain landscape. From a high level perspective, Sui Bridge has four key components: the Sui Bridge committee or node network, the Sui Bridge smart contracts, the Full nodes operating on Ethereum and Sui, and the bridge client. To ensure low gas costs, Sui Bridge constructs lightweight messages the receiving chain can decode easily. This streamlined design reduces complexity and computational overhead. As a native bridge, Sui Bridge leverages the same node operators that secure Sui, inheriting a decentralized network of node operators that is highly capable of running and securing Sui infrastructure. In addition to providing a secure and efficient way to transfer assets, Sui Bridge lays the groundwork for more advanced cross-chain interactions, a significant step forward for Sui interoperability. As Sui Bridge launches on Mainnet, you can look forward to a robust, versatile bridge that meets current demands while also anticipating future needs. For a more in-depth look at Sui Bridge, its architecture, trust model, and more, read here: https://lnkd.in/g5RFerPy

AUSD Week 1 Recap - $35M Minted on Eth Mainnet We opened up AUSD minting on Ethereum Mainnet last week to a select number of early customers and service providers.  We’re able to mint through fiat and accept other stables through our OTC partners (all of the first $35M came via other stables).  What should you expect in the next few weeks coming from Agora? - Increasing AUSD AUM from early customers - More chains: Avalanche is next, followed by Sui Foundation, and others to be announced soon :) - Further development of our web app which will enable seamless minting and redemption flows - Deployment of on-chain pools to build out liquidity and utility - Infrastructure listings (custodians, data providers, OTC desks/MM’s, etc.) - Exchange listings following the end of our limited availability period  Full thread here: https://lnkd.in/e82kbefg
