Living in Florida, skin safety is especially important. We brought On the Spot Dermatology to our work so employees could get their skin checked out and learn about how to stay safe in the sun. We’re proud to have a culture that helps our team stay healthy!

A new month means new nonprofits to vote for! 🎉 Meet the July nonprofit organizations competing for your votes in our Every Hit is a Win program — Celebrate Birthdays and Guadalupe Center! Every time the Tampa Bay Rays get a hit, Suncoast donates $90. We collect all hits (donations) throughout the month and donate up to $10,000 to local nonprofits. Remember, the vote percentage each organization receives will determine what percent of the donation total they get, so vote now! ⚾️ #RaysUp

July is Disability Pride Month, a time to celebrate those with differing abilities. One of the organizations we support through the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation is Easter Seals Southwest Florida. Our grant helps to ensure that children with disabilities have access to a K-12 program that meets their specific needs. We love watching them thrive and helping them to reach their greatest potential.

June might be over but we’re still full of pride! Our LGBTQ+&Allies employee resource group had a blast participating in St. Pete Pride. We look forward to seeing what our team accomplishes next! 🌈

We recently hosted an information session for the Tampa Bay Chamber's Minority Business Accelerator program! This program is designed to aid Black and Hispanic businesses prepare for growth. The MBA helps these businesses identify and overcome barriers, which often include limited access to capital, key decision makers, and information. By providing practical tools for change, program participants are positioned to increase capacity, create jobs, and build wealth. We’re honored to be a part of this incredible journey and support these emerging business owners!

As an organization with operations in rural Florida, we deeply appreciate the vital role that agriculture plays in our communities. Supporting Florida FFA Association is a natural fit for Suncoast, as we both believe in making a positive difference by investing in education and our youth—the future leaders who will drive our communities forward. The 2024 Florida FFA State Convention was one for the books! 💛 Suncoast proudly served as the title sponsor for the Day of Service, where we helped 200 students prepare more than 100,000 meals for families in the community. It was wonderful interacting with nearly 7,000 attendees through our financial education workshops, general sessions, table setups, and the numerous other activations that made this year’s FFA Convention a truly special experience for everyone involved.
