Roselind Dainy Toms, one of our Developers has recorded a short demo on the Power Pages Design Studio. Microsoft Power Pages is a brilliant tool for creating modern, external-facing business websites. It can be used across industries and allows customers to interact with your business. Some examples include customer websites, internal Wikis, HR portals and booking systems. The Design Studio has been created with App Makers in mind and leverages the use no-code/low-code features. The Power Pages Management App allows App Makers to view and edit the site's configurations and offers customisation options. Last week our Executive Chairman Gary Scott and Head of Technology Ryan Grey, attended European Power Platform Conference. It was a fantastic conference, and here are some of the valuable insights Ryan gained from attending: 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡: Microsoft continues to grow Power Platform, introducing new features like Copilot Agents and expanding main products such as the introduction of AI Flows and AI Recorder for Power Automate. The global number of monthly active users continues to climb (now at 25 million) and the conference itself has roughly doubled year-on-year since 2022 with over 2000 delegates in 2024. This highlights Microsoft's dedication to making Power Platform a central tool for digital transformation and the growing adoption from organisations. 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞-𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬: Large organisations such as DEFRA and DNB are leveraging Power Platform for their digital transformations, proving its capability for large-scale deployments alongside some of the larger partners/consultancies. DEFRA, for example, is using Power Platform to streamline operations across their organisation, demonstrating its versatility and impact. 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦: Some of the talks went beyond simply stating that Power Platform is used at enterprise-scale and discussed how to get from initial introduction of the platform to organisation-wide adoption. This complemented Marra’s own opinions on the subject which includes the importance of gaining exec sponsorship, delivering quick win apps, innovation/nurturing activities (such as buildathons), an appropriate sized Centre of Excellence to provide just enough governance and consistent/regular communication across these topics throughout the org. 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐈: With continued infusion of Copilot and AI into Power Platform, both for end-users and makers, it appears to be heading towards becoming Microsoft's "democratised AI platform," empowering users to create AI tools and solutions without needing deep technical expertise.
