We're proud of our part in helping to develop greenhouse gas mitigation strategies through the MethaneSAT program, among others.
MethaneSAT, a unique #satellite created by an environmental non-profit, was launched on March 4, 2024. This ground-breaking mission aims to tackle global warming by monitoring and measuring #methane emissions in the atmosphere. In celebration of Earth Day 2024 yesterday, we partnered with Clean Harbors to collect Household Hazardous Waste onsite, kicked off an Electricity Reduction Initiative, and enjoyed a delicious taco truck lunch. Our EH&S team collected about 2,800 pounds of waste in 3 hours! A huge thank you to our EH&S and Facilities teams for coordinating the events and helping us preserve our planet.
