The KEITH Geospatial team is adept at obtaining special COA's to safely fly UAS in restricted airspace. In this this case, our UAS team coordinated closely with officials at the FAA and TPA to efficiently perform this aerial collection in close proximity to runway 1R 19L with minimal impacts to airfield operations. Using a combination of aerial LiDAR and Photogrammetry, KEITH was able to model the intricate tanks and all the subsequent pipes, valves and force mains for this fuel facility. KEITH is excited to announce that Greg Chavarria has joined our team as Vice President and regional leader for the Miami market. With over 25 years of experience in municipal local government, Greg brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice. As a former City Manager for two South Florida coastal cities, Greg has an impressive track record of advancing critical projects that support infrastructure, public safety, public spaces, housing, resiliency, capital improvement programs, and economic development initiatives. One of his notable achievements was increasing the number of Public-Private Partnerships (P3) for the City of Fort Lauderdale from three to a dozen. This innovative approach accelerated the construction of a new Water Treatment Plant facility that will meet the latest EPA PFAS compliance standards. Greg holds dual degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering from the University of Miami, as well as a Master of Science in Management of Information Systems from Florida International University. He is a constant advocate for innovation and is passionate about bringing forward strategies that enhance the quality of life of communities and foster business growth.
