About us

Vanta's Mission: To help companies grow by connecting them with new team members who embody that company’s intellectual, cultural, and emotional DNA. This is truly RaaS - Recruiting as a Service. We’ve spent time as both external and internal recruiters and as HR professionals. We’ve noticed that there’s a large gap in what people want from a recruiting agency and what they get. All companies want team members and colleagues they can rely on and work side-by-side with, but most recruiting efforts focus on just matching skills to needs. While skills are important, knowing that your newest teammate is someone who you actually want to work with, who fits the culture, and who wants to be part of your mission is even more important. We started VANTA Partners with the goal of creating a unique experience that not only finds the best skillset match, but that methodically evaluates company culture and mission to find candidates that are naturally aligned. We apply process to tease out important characteristics of your company and team, and then mirror those processes in recommending prospective team members who can also add diversity and new perspectives.     Recruiting and Trap Shooting: Hitting the Bullseye: VANTA PARTNERS Inc At VANTA PARTNERS Inc, we like to think of recruiting as an art form—a blend of precision, timing, and a dash of fun. A few weeks ago a good friend of mine, Matthew Wagoner, of the amazing law firm The Wagoner Firm PLLC, took me and some all star business leaders from the Capital District to Orvis Sandanona. Much like shooting clay targets, recruiting requires a keen eye, a steady hand, and a strategy that brings it all together. Let’s yell "PULL" and see how these two activities are similar and how they both highlight the expertise we fricken bring to recruiting. 1. Spotting the Target In trap shooting, the clay target is launched at unexpected angles and speeds, testing your ability to quickly spot and aim. In recruiting, our "targets" are the ideal candidates who we find in unexpected places. Just like you can't wait for the perfect shot to come to you, we proactively seek out top talent to spot potential stars before anyone else does. 2. Precision and Focus Hitting a target demands precision and sick a$$ focus. Similarly, recruiting the right candidate requires a precise understanding of the job requirements and company culture. At VANTA PARTNERS Inc, we meticulously match skills and personalities to roles, ensuring as close to a perfect fit as possible. This laser focus helps us connect companies with candidates who not only meet the job specifications but also thrive within the team. 3. Timing is Everything In both trap shooting and recruiting, timing is crucial. You need to fire at just the right moment to hit the clay or secure the candidate.
