Heavy Equipment Ground View: Ground Cam Video to accompany the prior posting. Paradigm Parachute and Defense MSC-11 (aka G-16) parachutes doing things that had never been attempted before - high altitude extraction. Smooth, controlled openings with a stable ride the rest of the way down. Wamore, Inc. Talon/ACPRS did its job on impact to separate the parachutes from the payload to ensure the payload remains survivable and usable after landing. Not a bad day in the office...

Crazy Airdrop Operation to End the Year Wamore, Inc. and Paradigm Parachute and Defense closed out 2023 with a 3-Day Airdrop Campaign delivering 131,000+ lbs of payload testing all sorts of new techniques, rigging, & adaptations to extracted and gravity deployed platforms in both Precision and Ballistic configurations. We "crushed" the results expectations with perfect deployments, inflation, landings, and recovery. There are many countries the world over who would struggle, or simply do not have the capabilities, to perform such complex operations...

Sometimes you create a rigging masterpiece that you really do not want to intentionally throw off of a perfectly good airplane... But when you do, and the perfection of extraction, transition, deployment, inflation, autoflight, and landing makes it quite memorable. This amazing test resulted in a soft landing 10.3m from the programmed landing location, complete for the day before the sun was even up. The 3m x 1m x .75m payload weighed 1,750lb and was fully autonomous throughout the flight powered by the Ambassador 2K Precision Guided Parachute System. The Ambo 2K parachute (credit Performance Designs) is unmatched in its ability to adapt to any condition or environment while opening softly, slowly, smoothly while gliding with unmatched performance. Complicated rigging procedures and unnecessary/burdensome deployment peculiarities of competing systems are wholly eliminated by the simplicity of Ambo System architecture and design. Performing dangerous and risky tasks safely while developing/testing/& qualifying the next generation aerial delivery systems/procedures/techniques is integrated into the DNA of Wamore. The Wamore team is simply amazing. ...Coming soon to a C-130 near you...

Wamore's Ambassador 2K Precision Guided Parachute System recently proved its mettle with the most complex and challenging mission to date. The drop zone was completely surrounded by tall mountains and nested in a very tight valley. The drop zone was only 50m wide x 660m long. The Roadway Landing Mode of JPADS software running on Ambo 2K was selected for this unique requirement. With proper mission planning and perfect execution by the aircrew, all systems were deployed such that the strong, changing, swirling, chaotic winds were accounted for by Ambo 2K. All 6 systems computed and executed the proper flight path to avoid the hills, setup on the long axis of drop zone, and flew right up the gap for on target, soft landing. Roadway Landing Mode is designed to nail the programmed landing direction while sacrificing the actual distance from the programmed point. For a drop zone depicted in the attachment, this is the perfect mission plan. Not so concerned about exactly where on the drop zone we land, just that all systems are on the drop zone. What a great day for the end users who perfectly packed, rigged, planned, loaded, deployed, and recovered the systems for reuse. Video to follow in next post showing just how challenging the terrain/valley was...

Wamore brought contracted airdrop support back to US Govt Test Ranges after a 7 year absence. The venerable DHC-4 Caribou making sure newly developed airdrop systems are safe and effective before transitioning over to mainline users. Wamore's Wireless Gate Release System (WGRS) is used to safely hold and restrain the payloads up until the very moment of release, where the Loadmaster commands release from his Cell Phone! What a capability...
