Today, we’re spotlighting Sunset Park – home to the BCS Education Center! Out of NYC's 59 community districts, Sunset Park ranks 29th in having the largest proportion of nonwhite residents. As of 2022, there were an estimated 129,890 people in Sunset Park, of which 24.6% identified as Asian, 2.4% identified as Black, and 40.7% identified as Hispanic. Thanks to the NYC Small Business Services Commercial District Needs Assessment and the NYU Furman Center for these important facts!

BCS is partnering with Starbucks to host its annual ALL-IN Back to School event! Join us at Reinaldo Salgado Playground in Bed Stuy on Saturday, July 20 from 11am-3pm for live music, food, drinks, and games for the whole family. Our Farragut Cornerstones program in Vinegar Hill provides students with arts and science after-school programming to foster creativity, learning, and new friendships.
