When a construction general contractor faced denial by New York State of its minority-owned (MWBE) business status and certification, after a grueling 7-hour appeal hearing, Henry C. Chan, Esq., successfully argued that the general contractor fully responded to the Department’s inquiries, that the Department failed to establish grounds for its MWBE denial, and that our client was denied full and fair due process when the Department attempted to make arguments not contained in the original denial. Congratulations to Wilson & Chan Attorney Brandon Wong, Esq., for successfully settling a tort defense liability case at a pre-trial conference in Bronx Supreme Court by contributing nuisance value to a global settlement on plaintiff's mid six-figure claim.
