Over the past few months, our dedicated team members have been involved in various initiatives aimed at making a positive impact. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve been up to: 🏡 Habitat for Humanity Nashua North: Eric Worthen, Bob Dalton, Liam Lynch, Kyle Linscott, Deb Samataro, Tricia Robey, Elaine Hall, Troy Medeiros, Jamil Hadla & Greg Carr worked tirelessly stacking lumber, painting interiors, building drying racks, and installing vinyl siding. Nashua South: Tim O’Neil, Shannon Height, Lisa Robuccio, Keri Hetzer, and Pat Poliquin collaborated with the homeowner to install vinyl siding and complete all interior painting. 🍏 Food Drive in Richmond Our quarterly food drive exceeded expectations! With a goal of 250 lbs., we collected an impressive 360 lbs. of food. 🌍 Earth Day Clean Ups Grand Rapids: Aaron Hildebrand, Sara Sanders, Tim Jarrard, and Kari Bulthouse joined local companies to pick up trash and raise awareness about environmental conservation. Nashua South (Spit Brook Road Cleanup): Eric Worthen, Val Connelly, Deb Samataro, Stephanie Laurin, Pat Poliquin, Dave Cassin, and Elaine Baez came together to clean up the community around our Nashua South plant. We are incredibly proud of our team’s dedication and commitment to making our communities better places to live and work. At Worthen, sustainability isn't just a goal—it's a commitment to doing what's right for our planet and future generations. As Earth Month has kicked off, we're thrilled to share the incredible impact of our solar panel initiatives across multiple plants. Last year alone, our Clinton, Nashua North, and Grand Rapids plants collectively generated a whopping 1,453 MWh of clean, renewable energy. By harnessing the power of the sun, we've avoided the equivalent of 677 tonnes of CO2e emissions, which is like planting 16,710 trees or offsetting the emissions from 2,590,699 vehicle miles. 🌳🚗 Collectively, these arrays have generated an astounding 8,922 MWh of energy over their lifetime, showcasing our dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
