WSP is proud to be part of the joint venture working with Gateway Development Commission (GDC) to deliver the Hudson Tunnel Project, a vital part of the Gateway Program, which has secured a $6.88 billion final federal funding grant. This historic investment will improve transit and passenger rail services along the Northeast Corridor with new, modern tunnels under the Hudson River between New York City and New Jersey. WSP will provide environmental engineering support and preliminary and final design services for this transformative project, improving reliability and resiliency for Amtrak and NJ TRANSIT riders.
