This spring, Yearout Energy and Taos Ski Valley (TSV) launched the first phase of a comprehensive project aimed at achieving TSV’s ambitious goal of net zero carbon emissions by 2030. The initial phase focused on upgrading building automation systems across various facilities within the resort. These enhancements empower TSV staff to remotely monitor and optimize system performance, resulting in energy savings and reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Looking ahead, future project phases will encompass deep-energy efficiency upgrades, electrification initiatives, and large-scale renewable energy projects.
