Important to know
Validating work email might improve the quality of leads, but the submission rates of your form might decrease if the member isn’t willing to disclose their work email address, or they attempt to submit a non-work email address.
-
Custom questions count toward the twelve question maximum for the entire form.
-
Custom questions are required fields that the member needs to answer to submit the form.
-
These fields are supported by all marketing automation/CRM partners except Microsoft.
-
Multiple choice custom questions allow the member to choose from a list of advertiser-defined answers.
- Note: The first answer will be pre-selected by default.
-
Single line text custom questions allow the member to enter a free-text answer.
-
Custom checkboxes are not included in your total number of form fields (maximum twelve).
-
Enter the use description that you’d like your campaign audience to see next to your checkbox (max 500 characters).
-
Custom checkboxes are optional when creating a Lead Gen Form; you are not required to add custom checkboxes to your form.
-
You can make custom checkboxes required or optional fields for the member to complete on your Lead Gen Form.
-
If you’re using a third-party marketing automation or CRM platform, check the chart above in the leads details section to see if it’s compatible with custom checkboxes.
