You can use filters to search for a specific conversation from your LinkedIn messaging inbox:
To filter your messages:

Click the
Messaging icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click the
Filter icon on the left pane in the Search messages box. -
Select an option from the dropdown that appears to filter by:
- All Messages
- Archived
- My Connections
- Starred
- Unread
- InMail
- Spam
To filter your messages:

Tap the
Messaging icon on the upper right. -
Tap the
Filter icon in/next to the Search messages bar at the top of the page. -
Select an option from the dropdown that appears to filter by:
- My connections
- Starred
- Unread
- InMail
- Archived
- Blocked/Spam
You can also search for messages by keyword or recipient in the
Note: An InMail message is a message sent to someone who isn’t a connection. Filtering by All Messages will show you only the messages sent from your direct connections.
