Premium members can send InMail messages directly to other LinkedIn members who aren't connected with them. Apart from InMail messages, you might also receive Sponsored Messaging from recruiters and businesses.
Important to know
You can no longer opt out of receiving Sponsored Messaging ads from your LinkedIn Settings & Privacy page. The only way to stop an inappropriate or offensive Sponsored Messaging ad is to report it.
To opt out of receiving InMail messages:

Click the
Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Select Settings & Privacy and click the Data Privacy tab on the left.

Click Messages under Who can reach you.

Switch the toggle to No next to Allow others to send you InMail?
To opt out of receiving InMail messages:

Tap your profile photo.

Tap Settings.
