Performance reporting for LinkedIn Audience Network on/off network breakdown

Last updated: 3 months ago

When you enable the LinkedIn Audience Network for your Sponsored Content campaign, you can easily view your ad’s performance on our partner apps and sites on the Campaign Manager reporting dashboard. You can also export and download a CSV file from Campaign Manager that provides all of the campaign details and metrics for LinkedIn Audience Network performance.

Advertisers can view the breakdown between Audience Network and On LinkedIn ad placements for metrics such as clicks, impressions, views, and view completions at 25 percent, 50 percent, and 75 percent.

When using Campaign Manager for Audience Network reporting, keep in mind:

  • An impression is counted for ads on the LinkedIn Audience Network when the ad renders on the page.
  • Conversions from ad placements on the LinkedIn Audience Network will be reported at the campaign-level only.

To view and export LinkedIn Audience Network performance reporting from Campaign Manager:

  1. Sign in to Campaign Manager.

  2. If you need to switch accounts, click the account name in the upper-left corner of the page and select the correct account name from the dropdown.

  3. Click the Campaign Groups, Campaigns, or Ads tab.

  4. Click the Columns dropdown menu and select the type of metrics you'd like to review (for example, Performance).

  5. Click the Breakdown dropdown menu and select On/Off Network.

    • The metric breakdown between Audience Network and On LinkedIn will appear in rows below each applicable campaign group, campaign, or ad.

  6. To export your metrics, click the Export button and select Audience network ad performance from the dropdown in the Export CSV Report pop-up window.

  7. Select a column view and timeframe for your report, then click Export.

A CSV file with the performance reporting will download to your computer.

You might also see Uncategorized on your report. For On/Off Network, uncategorized means that the impression's placement is unknown. For example, some modeled metrics might not account for the impression's placement.

Here's a tip

For video ads on the LinkedIn Audience Network, you can choose the Placement breakdown to see if your video ad is published as a standalone ad within the content or as an in-stream ad.
