Dipmeter Log Interpretation
This project was a part of winter internship at Schlumberger PetroTechnical Services (PTS). We were required to identify hole deviation, identify possible structural breaks (faults, unconformities), describe drag patterns, and interpret possible scenarios for the log character displayed.

Stirling Engine (Prototype)
This project was assigned to complete the 'Thermodynamics' course, Suez University (BSE 222). The team managed to manufacture a simple prototype applying the same concepts of the Stirling Engine!
The Stirling Engine is a heat engine operating by cyclic compression and expansion of air or other gas, the working fluid, at different temperature levels such that there is a net conversion of heat energy to mechanical work!Other creators -

I was mainly responsible for the Reservoir Engineering part in the project along with following up with all my teammates in their tasks. However there is a severe lack in data, I initiated the idea to create and develop a simple Reservoir Model for the field, with logic assumptions for the missed data, applying my background and experience in Reservoir Simulation studies!
Moreover, I performed an EOR simulation study, on a 5-Spot model as a pilot test, comparing the potential methods that may be used in the future in Raml Field, recommending the most promising results!Other creators -
HPHT Deepwater Gas Reservoirs

This project was prepared for the 2014 SPE Egypt Young Professionals Education Week. The team was required to provide a field development plan that should include:
1. Data acquisition program to optimize the most cost effective way of developing these candidate reservoirs; this should include both a Standard Core Acquisition Program (number of cores, depths, and required analysis program), and a Standard Logging Program (Tools and techniques, depths, and required analysis program).

2. Approximate number of wells with regards to the assumed gas reserve volume.
3. The different completion strategies in addition to two different frac designs.
4. Production Operations Life – What could be different in producing these wells?
5. Production Forecast.
6. An imagination to the Surface Processing of this type of gas - What is basic? What is different?
7. Contracting strategy for all the services in the project, in order to bring the gas to the market as soon as possible.
8. Environmental impact of drilling, stimulating and producing these wells.
9. Overall cost and return from the development phase - The objectives were to provide an economic project with a 15% Rate of Return, this is to be done by minimizing the capital expenditure, adequate planning for the development life cycle.Other creators -
Coalbed Methane Technology and Development
-
This project was prepared for the 2013 IPTC Education Week in Beijing, China. The scope was to analyze how to mitigate the water production impacts on the environment and to improve production economics, study the potential of using CO2 as the enhanced recovery method to displace the methane gas in the coal matrix, and to study how to utilize the reservoir in a Carbon Capture Storage site after the gas depletion.
