Key clients are pushing for conflicting feature updates. How do you prioritize user feedback effectively?
It's important to create a safe an effective space for stakeholders to communicate with you and with their own units. If the work is conducted appropriately, the company (not the developers) are given complete control of what items to develop next. Development teams moderate the conversation the the right fashion and offer the opportunity and methods for stakeholders to drive the development towards items that have the most meaning to support the company strategy.

Launching a product with limited resources is challenging. Can you navigate unexpected setbacks effectively?
Use early onboarding stages to specify your touchpoints and audience. These should account for items such as: - What are our planned touchpoints? - How do we engage when an emergency occurs? - Who should be in attendance? - When do we engage the "everyday working team" vs. the "executive sponsors"? A key to a successful Product Development unit is removing the element of surprise. Get comfortable knowing things will not always go as planned, but create the right ways to reflect and adjust development cycles when needed. Alignment is what you're seeking. The same answer should be given by your stakeholders when questions are asked. If your teams' and their customers are on the same page- that's a strong indication of a job well done!

Launching a product with limited resources is challenging. Can you navigate unexpected setbacks effectively?
Communication and a well-documented process are both essential to feature prioritization. Frameworks such as RICE or WSJF include common criteria that is based on evidence and present a fact-based way to prioritize the most important blocks of work to execute first. It is important to ensure the integrity of the information that is fed into the algorithm. If bad data is used, it could lower teams' effectiveness by them not working on the most important items. The key here is honest and open communication. Teams should understand that Product Development teams do not determine which items are to be worked on first. They merely facilitate the conversation and execute on agreed deliverables. Alignment is key.

Perfection and agility are enemies. It defeats the purpose of an iterative development process. Don't ever let perfection get in the way of completion. It'd be great if you could carefully break down your objectives into stages and size your cycles to accommodate the individual features and EPICs. You want to keep the lines of communication open for feedback and make changes often to show your understanding of the customer needs, as well as your ability to pivot when needed to meet your customers' new and evolving needs.

As the 2005 Youth Career Initiative Program Coordinator, I was accountable for recruiting the candidates, finding sponsors, discussing timelines and objectives with fellow program participants, as well as scheduling resources to provide knowledge transfer, as well as personal guidance to each candidate.
It was a life-changing experience to see these youngsters right out of high school, changing the direction of their lives through this 6-month work experience. See more information at http://www.youthcareerinitiative.org/

Here's why he was chosen the VIP for Jul/2012:
Alex's accessibility and responsiveness to his customers and coworkers is exceptional, frequently responding after business hours and going the extra mile to address their needs. Alex frequently goes the extra mile for his customers. Below are just two examples of how Alex provides outstanding customer service:
Alex participated in a property visit recently to gain feedback on the applications and devices being used by the associates. During the discussions he was informed that there were issues with the mobile devices they were utilizing. Alex upgraded the software on the devices which addressed performance issues and bugs. He discovered and corrected network connectivity issues with the docking station which was preventing them from synchronizing with their applications. Alex also configured several devices to access the Wi-Fi network which helped increase the productivity of the associates.
The Global Engineering and Technology Training Services teams were preparing for a workshop being held in the CALA region. The content would be delivered in English however the audience consisted of associates whose primary languages were Spanish and Portuguese. The teams requested that Alex help facilitate the training as he is fluent in both languages. The initial plan was for Alex to simply provide clarification if the attendees had any questions. However it was quickly determined that the best approach would be for the content to be delivered first in English and then Alex would repeat in Spanish. Alex quickly adapted to this new approach which made the workshop a big success.
Alex exemplifies what customer service is and how IR adds value for its business partners.

Indoor cellular network coverage has become vital due to the pervasive use of cell phones by guests and employees, from new demands of the IoT (Internet of Things), and the promise of future value-added, in-building services such as presence detection and location-specific advertising. High quality, highly secure, indoor wireless services are needed for the entire spectrum of hotel properties, not just the large venues where the cost of currently available solutions is justifiable and the wireless operators are self-motivated to provide a radio source. Any size property needs the ability to control its own wireless destiny. The hospitality industry requires a comprehensive solution that simultaneously supports all the major wireless operators and that can be deployed, inclusive of carrier RF source, at the discretion of the property owner or manager. The Scalable Cellular Service Workgroup was formed to document options that will satisfy enterprise level requirements such as ease of installation, scalability and management, while simultaneously fulfilling the technical and procedural requirements of multiple major cellular carriers.
