    I have been in charged of coordinating events for my chapter to promote and market historically black colleges and universities and encourage students to attend HBCUs as a sustainability measure. We have hosted HBCU events around campus to help fund the survival of HBCUs. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. has raised $1 million for the second year in a row for our HBCUs.
