STEM Our State (SOS) - formerly TEKids

Education
I am an advisor to the wonderful students that run SOS.
Among my many roles at TEKids, I was actively engaged in teaching teachers and students STEAM concepts to help prepare our youth to be competitive global leaders in the future. It has been some of the most rewarding work.
At SOS, I am guiding youth to lead the cause and create inspirational experiences for their community to develop a STEM culture of the future for WV and other areas falling behind in a technology-based…I am an advisor to the wonderful students that run SOS.

Tennis Coach (Assistant)

I have informally helped my high school alma mater whenever called upon since moving back to Morgantown. In 2019-2020, at the request of one of the high school players that wanted to talk to me during his match changeovers (not sure what magic he thought I was going to tell him, but I happily obliged), I became credentialed and officially began helping consistently with coaching of high school tennis through the 2022 season.

Coached multiple soccer teams over the years that my kids played on.
In 2020, I took on coaching duties at Appalachia Football Club 1863 (AFC63) when the main coaching team was unable to travel/attend games. At AFC63, we have recruited players in WV that represent 14 different countries. We are on a mission to create the first professional sports team in the state of WV! -
Basketball Coach
Multiple Organizations
Coached multiple basketball teams over the years that my kids played on.
Miraculously had a season where we lost every regular season game but found a way to play our best in the playoffs and win the championship. That probably says something about the coaches and players, but credit goes to God. It sure was a fun time.
