How can you avoid burnout in Corporate Communications?
Avoiding burnout in a 24/7, on demand profession can be tricky. It starts by changing the mindset of burnout as a badge of honor- much like we reset attitudes about "powering through" sickness in the office. And while all of the typical tips are useful - meditate, set limits, take a break - they don't always do the job. For me, the ability to laugh, and people to laugh with, is the most effective tool in my toolbox. It is quick, free and effective. The world is never on your shoulders alone, even when it feels like it is.
