I participated in the FIRST Lego League Manhattan Qualifiers as the Head Referee after being a referee for 2 consecutive years prior. I assisted putting together the field kits for the competition. I also trained the 14 referees participating and ensured that all rules and regulations were followed on the day of the competition.

I participated in an event called Teensgiving, a one day citywide event that brings high school students and adults from all over to perform community service every Noevember. Along with 5 other adult volunteers, we chaperoned a group of around 50 students to Morningside Park. Our assignment for the day was to transplant flowers into the garden area.
