In 2004, he was the recipient of the inaugural Outstanding Alumni Board Member Award by Seattle Works for his contributions to the Seattle community. Seattle Works connects volunteers, develops leaders, and builds community.

In 2001, Mr. Ackerley was recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the region’s most influential “40 Under 40” business leaders.
