I've been reflecting this week on what makes Customer Success in Healthcare so unique - and so much fun. Health tech adoption is never simple. We've got: → A cautious user base committed to protecting their patients → Fragmented financial responsibility over patient care → Integrations with EHRs... enough said (I won’t name names). If you’re curious about artificial intelligence’s potential to drive value and insights from healthcare data, today’s your day. In my #GlobalSummit24 keynote, I’ll preview new InterSystems HealthShare and TrakCare capabilities that advance AI’s role in #healthcare. I’ll also discuss two new solutions that leverage interoperable data to improve clinical research and the patient and provider experience. Here’s a sneak peek. 1) InterSystems plans to introduce generative AI-enabled capabilities by the end of 2024. Imagine the benefits of an ambient assistant that takes medical notes and enables clinician action. Then there’s the chat-based co-pilot that surfaces key information from labyrinthine patient medical records in seconds. And there’s a dashboard that tailors the view of patient and member data to each user’s needs. 2) Streamline clinical research. We’re announcing today an early-access program for the InterSystems OMOP Platform Solution, which promises to improve interoperability and scalability for clinical research and patient data management. 3) Solve interoperability challenges. InterSystems Health Gateway Service will become available this summer, delivering near real-time, secure access to patient data from national information-sharing networks. That enables clinicians to drive personalized care decisions, no matter their organization or location. In order for us to see great change in healthcare, we have to fix the labor crisis. Organizations have been chipping away at it, but Forbes comments on how healthcare companies can make the industry's workforce more stable and engaged. One way is to create better pathways to employment. Investing in the new talent pool won't help with returns right away.
