When we looked at the data sets provided by organizations for the WNY Civic App Challenge we saw a common need for groups. The NGOs had spreadsheets full of addresses and latitudes/longitudes, but they didn't have a good way to create, update, and share, that data with other citizens. Building this tool gave us a chance to stretch our abilities…

  • Buffalo Startup Scramble

    An inspirational evening of art, music, talks, and socializing with the hopes of generating more citizen entrepreneurs while highlighting the accomplishments of our existing community members.

    The event had over 200 attendees, 20+ participating organizations, and 12 sponsors. Our organizing committee consisted of 10 leaders from the entrepreneur community. The event was part of 43North Finals Week, the Buffalo based $5MM business idea competition.
