What are the most common relationship mistakes event producers make?
Your network may not feel like an asset, but if you spend some time reviewing who you know and their specific areas of expertise, you'll often uncover some valuable contributions. In addition, simply asking YOUR network who is in THEIR network can extend your reach 100x. Don't be afraid to ask for referrals.

What are the most common relationship mistakes event producers make?
If you're working with governments, property owners, vendors for rental equipment, etc, you HAVE to communicate your event's set up and timeline. Say it seven different ways, seven different times. Be well prepared, have everything well documented and ask for them restate anything you're not confident they understand. Taking the extra time to be detailed in your communication will save you hours of headaches and stress as your event date approaches.

What are the most common relationship mistakes event producers make?
Without clear deliverables included in the contracts, you have no recourse or fallback when 3rd parties neglect to fulfill their duties. Even if you have a prior relationship with them, be clear and measurable when detailing expectations and include them in the contract so there's ZERO ambiguity.
