Civil Rights and Social Action
I successfully organized voters, community power brokers, unions, and political organizations to help get 3 candidates elected to the Niles Township (IL) D219 Board of Education. Campaign efforts drove voter turnout of 14%, the highest local turnout in the past 5 election cycles. My candidates received the highest percentage of votes with 18.25%, 15.79%, and 14.04%, respectively.
