What do you do if your boss and you clash on work priorities?
When communicating concerns about conflicting work priorities, it's important to approach the conversation with respect and a focus on finding a resolution. Choose the right time and place, provide specific examples of conflicts, and offer potential solutions. Use "I" statements to show how it impacts you personally - but don’t be defensive, actively listen to your boss's perspective, and maintain a respectful tone. Seek clarification, document the conversation, and aim for a mutually beneficial solution. Effective communication is key in addressing conflicting priorities and finding a resolution that works for both parties.

How can Executive Managers support employee career growth?
I agree 💯- so important to understand your employees motivations. Where do they want to take their career, learn, do? Then help develop a plan to help them get there - making the people connections, creating opportunities how will you invest in them, challenging them to stretch and challenge themselves and creating the opportunities so others see the work they are doing. Feedback must be consistent and honest - creating a safe space for employees to share their goals and aspirations is key.
