I've been thinking for a while in setting up a private WhatsApp group for College Recruitment Directors, DOC's, coaches, at clubs across the USA to keep everyone updated with all things #CollegeSoccer offering advice, letting them know of what colleges are needing, and more. I get a lot of people private messaging me in these positions, but thought it would be a good idea to have a group. We (@SRUSA_Official) have our ears to the ground with all things College Soccer, and I know people in these positions are stretched for time, and its one of the most important pathways. If there's any interest, please comment below, and I'll gauge the interest before creating it.

You CANNOT perform how you practice. NFL players play one game a week, meaning the remaining six days are dedicated to training. Over a year, including preseason and postseason, they spend about 25 days competing out of 300 working days. That’s just 8% of their time in actual competition. This ratio highlights how crucial training is for performance. So, what is the purpose of training??? The goal is to learn, grow, and perfect skills through deliberate practice. It requires pushing just beyond your current abilities, making mistakes, & constantly seeking feedback. When it’s time to perform, the focus shifts to execution. Here, you rely on the skills you’ve perfected through training. Instead of dissecting techniques, you execute them seamlessly, adapting to real-time variables like opponents or unexpected conditions. The best performers maintain a professional work ethic during training, which frees them to perform with child-like energy and joy. The discipline and hard work put into practice allow them to find flow and enjoyment in actual performance. These principles apply perfectly in a business context. For instance, creating safe spaces for teams to analyze, innovate, and improve processes is essential.
