Senior Capstone - Delta Aircraft Parking Project

Aircrafts are often left without their wheels chocked or being improperly set. Our team won first place Summer 2021 working with Delta to create a working prototype for automated chocks to prevent user error and increase efficiency in an everyday procedure.

Mission Concept Academy (L’SPACE) Project Manager

- Working with a team of 10 as the project manager to prepare a Preliminary Design Review (PDR) for a small lander targeting Enceladus’ Tiger Stripe region using a budget of 400 million dollars
- As a mechanical engineer on the team, I helped CAD the lander using NX. I also calculated the heat transfer within the system (heat loss due to radiation, heat generation of electronics, etc.) and designed battery life accordingly with the mission concept
