    As a student intern I was afforded the opportunity of an active role in most aspects of the organization's efforts to persuade Congress to introduce legislation that would have an immediate and positive effect upon the economies of many of the world's most impoverished nations, helping to raise the standard of living for millions of people in developing countries.

    Jubilee USA' s mission is to help alleviate global poverty by encouraging more equitable diplomatic and trade relations between developed and developing nations.

    The 2019 Citizen Impact Award honors the Secretary of State's Web Development Team for their work on the Election Night Reporting website which keeps citizens informed of to-the-minute election results from 95 counties across the state of Tennessee. The website allows users to query based on specific elections and ballot questions, and also integrates with Twitter to tweet results out live as they are reported to the Division of Elections.
