Poverty Alleviation
Taught basic photography to women participating in "Hunger Through My Lens", a new project to shed light on the reality of hunger in the Denver metro area. Based on the photovoice model, this project provided a platform for these women who experience hunger and food insecurity to share their stories through photography. Each woman was provided a digital camera, instruction on basic photography, and set out to photograph their experience. Their photographs have been displayed in traveling…
