“I first met Keli in the early 90's when we both worked as Admissions Counselors for UAF. I consider her not only a good friend, but also a mentor, colleague, and expert in the communication and leadership fields. Having participated in several of her workshops and trainings, I've seen first-hand her ability to connect with the audience and provide very useful tips/information that can be used immediately. She is known throughout Alaska as an effective and knowledgeable trainer and coach. In Fairbanks, when working with University, business, or community groups who may need a dynamic facilitator to conduct a workshop or training or major change of focus, Keli's name is usually at the top of the list. Keli is all about goal achievement--for herself and her clients. Her positive, outgoing, sensitive demeanor helps to put people at ease and encourages them to step outside their comfort zones to take action. Few individuals can do this so effortlessly! When taking on an assignment, Keli does her homework by researching the topic(s), identifying the stakeholders and their respective perspectives, and choosing a course of action that accomplishes what is best for all the parties involved--switching gears in the middle, if necessary. She is down-to-earth and able to engage diverse groups of people. Every time, I speak with Keli, I walk away better because of the interaction. Keli is one of our top leaders in Alaska.”
