• Determined the mechanism of action of a novel cytokine, mda-7(also called, IL-24, INGN 241), in cancer and normal cells using cell culture models of Melanoma, Breast and Prostate cancer. Performed pre-clinical in vivo efficacy studies of Ad.mda-7 Gene Therapy in Athymic nude mouse tumor models for the treatment of Melanoma, Breast and Prostate cancer. Established the pre-clinical efficacy of mda-7 gene therapy in small animal models
