Hosted annually, SocialMatchbox was the largest new software product launch event for startups on the East Coast co-hosted by Robert Neelbauer & Juliana Neelbauer with help from a lot of really awesome people. The Washington Post called it the Washington, DC Geek Meet Market. Many founders met investors and each other at the launch event and honed their craft along the way. The Washington Post called it the Washington, DC Geek Meet Market. Many founders met investors and each other at the launch event and honed their craft along the way. The event series also included regular founder and developer open mic nights held in a space with garage doors (it was called Startup Garage Night), founder panels and a degree of exclusivity + authenticity that is rare in today's startup circles.
