About

Over twenty five years of experience developing public policy and programming to empower communities and create legislative change in areas including tax and economic policy, health care, education, civil rights and housing. Skills include managing concurrent projects, overseeing budgets and boards, developing media and marketing strategies, executing legislative and electoral campaigns, and communicating policy issues to wide audiences.

Specialties: Grant making and project management, campaign management, policy analysis and legislative relations, public education and training, community organizing, political consulting, media relations and board/organizational development.

I wish to put these skills and experiences to use on behalf of building a strong democracy through increased civic engagement, policy reform, and organizational capacity building. Seeking opportunities to practice strategic grant making by leveraging existing strengths and addressing weaknesses within the social and economic justice infrastructure.
