Stratégies catches up with Amplify’s quickly growing Paris office… Reflecting on the past two years, our Paris office sat down with premier French editorial, Stratégies, to discuss the advertising landscape, global clients, the Amplify DNA, and the firepower team that have taken the Paris hub to new heights. Founded as a ‘home for creative people and clients,’ we were always excited to explore the cultural and collaborative opportunities in France, a market that has long presented itself with huge potential. Since then, the agency has experienced continuous growth, partnering with industry-leading brands including Audemars Piguet, CHANEL Beauty, Jordan (Nike), PlayStation, UGG and Zimmermann to name a few. We’ve delivered impactful campaigns like Night at Le Louvre for Airbnb, transforming the iconic museum into an exclusive cultural experience, as well as launching The Biggest Fan campaign for Netflix's La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) finale, celebrating the show's global impact by spotlighting its devoted fans instead of traditional media. While I can’t speak to the legitimacy of the accusations herein, this is still a worrying situation for advertisers everywhere. Publications whose reputations are staked on their image of legitimate business are not what many may expect to be perpetrators of MFA Ad fraud. That being said, we can better understand ad fraud by looking at the incentive changes on the supply side of these AdTech deals. Ad fraud particularly harms multicultural publishers, as their reach and impact receive decreased impact when improperly assigned to Ad spaces. #AdFraud #AdTech #ProgramaticSupplyChain

Hey, John Long … WPP and Cannes invited Elon Musk as a featured guest speaker for several very good reasons: 1) Attendance at the Cannes Festival has been declining over the past few years and needs to rebuild its franchise; 2) One significant way to rebuild attendance is to feature the most prominent guest speakers in the world from business, film, entertainment, and advertising; 3) Elon Musk is the richest and most successful business person in the world, https://lnkd.in/e38Rg6Gk; 4) However controversial, Musk is clearly the most innovative pioneer and business game-changer alive today with his efforts in automotive, space, neuroscience, social media, etc.; 5) And finally, he may not always drink Dos Equis, but Musk is definitely “The Most Interesting Man In the  World”. And that’s why Cannes invited him. 😎

I had the pleasure to keynote the Ragan Communications and PR Daily event in Orlando. Just me and 700 hungry social media & #comms experts (eating breakfast ;)) From my talk: **5 observations** 1. Remote collaboration is solved (Zoom) but the human aspect of work is suffering and must be addressed digitally (culture, engagement, leadership) 2. That’s why #EmployeeExperience is a top #digitaltransformation driver in 2024 3. Digital employee experience is first and foremost about #opencommunication and a true sense of belonging (less about perks) 4. Employees don’t want to "sell their time" anymore; they expect to be heard, included, and appreciated. 5. Frontline staff such as nurses and factory or retail workers also deserve to feel a part of the company’s comms and culture. **5 tips** 1. The Internal communicator profile is changing - from reactive to proactive, from an informer to an engager 2. Take the leap from top-down to "open comms" - flat, democratized, community-driven, consumer-inspired 3. Hire social media specialists for your internal comms team 4. Employee advocacy is your most effective, most ROI-positive marketing program. Big impact on inbound and employer brand (hiring, retention) 5. Comms is becoming strategic and top of mind for companies. Slow down to Speed up. From Brand Safety & Suitability to GenAI-adoption there are numerous well intentioned efforts triggering unexpected and damaging consequences. Media performance is often framed at odds with efforts to be more inclusive and sustainable. Well intentioned industry efforts to keep brands safe have led to systemic exclusion and over blocking of socially and sustainably-conscious creators and their communities. And don’t get me started on media wastage and the myth of cheap CPMs. As everything around us seems to be gaining speed, time is fleeting, and workloads are unrelenting - I’m reminded of an adage at a former client: ‘Never seem to have time to pre-think; always have to make time to re-think.’ Please take a breath. Make time to think, assess, re-assess, and even re-imagine. And in no time at all you’ll be creating enduring and sustainable value. Slow down to speed up.
