What are some ways to maintain your fitness routine while on a business trip?
Before going to a new city for work, I scope out the gym and the equipment. I plan my training splits each week so I’m able to move around my schedule thereafter. If there isn’t much in terms of weight training, I’ll do strength work the day before and perform cardio in the work city or a body weight workout. I also get day passes to studios we don’t have in our city and try a new class out that I wouldn’t have otherwise done!

What are some ways to maintain your fitness routine while on a business trip?
I’ve been a personal trainer for over 14 years and as much as training is important, nutrition and hydration are the bigger needle movers! Protein is a macro that is often harder to hit, so I pack a ziploc bag of my protein powder inside a blender bottle (save space this way) and make sure to add the scoop so it’s easy to measure! I take this immediately after my lift and can also do this before a dinner since carbs and fats are easy to hit. Also, I always pack a reusable water bottle to ensure I’m hydrated!
