This Chinese company is a supplier of high-technology packaging systems and turn-key solutions to the bottling and packaging industries. This project is expected to invest $5 million and create 130 new jobs.

  • Comcast Regional Headquarters Expansion

    On February 17, 2015, Comcast announced that they will expand and make their new Peachtree Corners location in Gwinnett County their southeastern regional headquarters. This project is a retention of 532 existing employees, plus an additional 150 new jobs are expected. Comcast’s new 88,000-square-foot state-of-the-art location will feature four floors, a high-tech demonstration lab, and a Comcast University space for employee training and continuing education.

They make high-precision machining manufacturer of steel parts and components for the defense, auto and avionic industries. The company will invest $30 million in an existing facility in Duluth, GA and will create 150 new jobs. The location will also be their US headquarters.

    I am actively involved in the planning our Partnership Gwinnett's annual Peer Tour and Redevelopment Forum. The Peer Tour is a bus trip with elected and community leaders to visit nearby cities and areas to learn best practices on redevelopment. Past visits have included Decatur, Woodstock, West Village, Old Forth Ward, Emory Point, and White Provisions in Metro Atlanta, and out-of-town visits have included Macon and Greenville, SC. The Redevelopment Forum has grown to around 300 attendees…

The Redevelopment Forum has grown to around 300 attendees from around Metro Atlanta. The Forum highlights trends in redevelopment and opportunities in Gwinnett County for real estate developers.
