Happy Wednesday! Did you know that Aerotek can provide reporting on wage data, employment trends and skillset demands on a national and local level? Working with manufacturing and distribution clients, this is the type of data I geek out over!! I've attached our U.S Job Report- here are labor market metrics to monitor: Wages for production and nonsupervisory workers increased by 4.1% YoY. Job openings remained below 9M; Feb-Apr'24 averaged 8.4M job openings. Quits remained below 4 million for the tenth consecutive month; Feb-Apr'24 averaged 3.4M quits. The number of job openings per unemployed worker (those actively looking for work) was 1.24 job openings per unemployed worker in May. 🥒 Where are my pickleball players? As a tennis player convert, I am obsessed with pickleball. I enjoy the strategy, quickness, competition, and working together with a partner. My biggest challenge is having the patience to wait for the right moment- I’m working on my dinking game- I much prefer to just hit the heck out of the ball!
