I’m going to save you time. Here are the three takeaways from my post below: 1. **Generative AI Democratization**: What once seemed like exclusive technology is now accessible to most. 2. **Transforming HR Technology**: Generative AI allows HR teams to tailor AI solutions, fostering greater creativity and efficiency. 3. **Essential Skills of the Future**: Understanding and harnessing generative AI will soon be a minimum qualification. HERE IS THE FULL VERSION: There was a time in history when the idea of a personal computer was so far-fetched, it was laughable. Now we live in a world where many of us have multiple advanced computing devices in our backpacks and pockets. What took decades to accomplish with personal computing is taking weeks with generative AI. Generative AI is transforming personal productivity and the HR technology landscape. Innovations from major players like Apple, Microsoft, and OpenAI make powerful AI tools available to everyone. We are no longer at the mercy of vendors to design and sell use case-specific platforms (there are many doing great things). This democratization allows individuals and businesses to tailor AI solutions to their unique needs, fostering greater creativity and efficiency. Understanding and harnessing generative AI is becoming as essential as knowing how to operate a word processor, navigate a web browser, or manage files and folders. Designing your own GPT models and leveraging AI are critical skills for the future of work and personal productivity. I haven’t seen a résumé that says "must be proficient with computers" in a long time. Conversational interfaces are increasingly important for all enterprise system and specifically for HR system. If your organization is coming up with a "10 Year Strategy Plan", and it does not involve a conversational HR system, that is the BIGGEST CONTRADICTION you will ever see. Why, because if an organization does not invest in a conversational HR system, the chances of it even existing 10 years down the line are downright abysmal. The data from ClayHR's customer base which launched the Ask HR module (More at https://lnkd.in/d-R7KW3Y) shows us clearly that: 1. Once the employees have tasted the success of a conversational HR system, they simply do not want to go back to a legacy interface where they are able to see the data in boring tabular data format. 2. Employees simply prefer the mechanism where they can talk to the system - whether by typing, or by using voice, but quite literally, "talk to the system". Historically, when we digitized the systems, we came to a tabular interface because the technology of that time (think HTML, XML, JSON, Arrays, Lists etc.) across the board could support just that. However, now that the conversational interface like the ones powered by GenAI are available - that is it. There is no going back. Your employees are not going to go back from a conversational interface.

As we continue to implement AI and experiment with new tech tools, we celebrate the wins and correct the failures—quickly. #ResponsibleAI is a key area that requires our attention and careful consideration. This article argues, “Chatbots should avoid merely refusing to generate any content altogether. This is unless there are solid public interest grounds...” These authors believe that “refusals to generate content not only affect fundamental rights to free speech and access to information.” It's an interesting take as the industry innovates and works in new ways, we must ensure core rights are baked into the journeys. #AI #Data

A new Boston Consulting Group (BCG) report on generative AI in the workplace shows that Job Security has risen to the top of the priority list.
