Traditional HR theory would say you would never give candidates negative feedback. There's too much risk and no upside for doing it. Although, in today's world, I do believe there are some benefits and strategies to doing this. The only way this works is you have to communicate your desire to give feedback before the candidate even agrees to the interview. "We like to give feedback to all candidates who interview. Some of that can be hard to take. Would you like this feedback?" You're making a verbal contract with the candidate and setting expectations. The other side of this is to deliver feedback, even negative feedback, as a developmental tool. "We are telling you this because we see promise in you and want you to get better..."

How do you keep your employees motivated and loyal during times of change and uncertainty?
Some of the best ways to leverage your employment brand in recruiting are: - Using short videos of real employees talking about their experiences as an employee. - Leveraging your consumer brand’s power to invigorate your employment brand. We find many times our customers make great employees as they are already fans of the brand. - Engage your community is as many ways as you can so people associate your brand in a positive way leading for them to want to work for you. - Embrace consumer marketing strategies to build marketing campaigns letting potential candidates know of your interest. The most powerful force in the universe is being wanted!
